Instead, it deepened and evolved into a multi-generational struggle between two superpowers: the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) and the United States of America, now known as the American National State (ANS). The ideological battle between communism and capitalism has intensified, but both superpowers have become twisted reflections of their former selves, consumed by paranoia, militarism, and authoritarianism.

Story

The USSR never collapsed. Instead, it underwent a series of reforms and purges that allowed it to adapt to the challenges of the 21st century. Under the leadership of a succession of pragmatic yet ruthless General Secretaries, the Soviet Union has embraced technological advancements while maintaining strict ideological control. The United States, driven by decades of Red Scare and Yellow Peril propaganda, has transformed into a totalitarian fascist dictatorship. The American National State (ANS) is a hyper-militarized, ethnocentric regime that prioritizes "national purity" and "security" above all else. Underground networks of dissidents, hackers, and freedom fighters work to undermine both regimes. The Global Liberation Front (GLF) seeks to unite these movements, but internal divisions and external threats make their task nearly impossible.
