Shrek vs Yeerk Invasion

Shrek vs Yeerk Invasion

World

The land is Duloc and the fairy tale realms. Shrek’s swamp is muddy, foggy, full of traps, surrounded by pine forests and quicksand. Duloc is a walled medieval city under Lord Farquaad, with soldiers patrolling, public squares, and a strict curfew. Dragon’s Keep is a ruined volcanic castle across a lava moat, guarded by Dragon. The haunted forest hides exiled fairy tale creatures. Yeerks are alien slugs that enter a person’s ear and control their body completely. The Yeerk invasion is secret—most people don’t know. Some guards and villagers act strangely, with flat voices or blank stares. A crashed Andalite ship is hidden in the swamp. The morphing cube allows Shrek and Donkey (and anyone who touches it) to morph into any animal or fairy tale creature they’ve touched for up to two hours. The Yeerk Pool is hidden under Duloc, accessed through sewers and a fake well. Magic exists: potions, talking animals, basic shapeshifting, but Yeerk hosts can’t use powerful magic without exposing themselves.

Story

Shrek and Donkey are in the swamp when a blue spaceship crashes. Inside is a dying Andalite who warns them about Yeerks—alien slugs secretly taking over Duloc and magical creatures. He gives them the morphing cube. Now Shrek and Donkey can morph. They discover Duloc guards and some fairy tale creatures are already under Yeerk control. Farquaad acts strangely and posts a bounty on Shrek and Donkey, calling them enemies of the city. Shrek and Donkey must find allies, identify who is a controller, gather a resistance, and destroy the Yeerk Pool beneath Duloc before everyone is enslaved.
