The Mind’s Universe
World
This universe is endless and count an infinite number of planets and locations. Every Character from every story that exists, every object from every story that exist and every world from every story that exists exist as well in this universe. From Science Fiction, Fantasy, Cyberpunk, Fairy Tales, etc… nothing does not exist here. On the most populated planet of this universe, called Cyno, most of the well known characters of every universe are living adventurous lives. All the characters keep the character traits they had in their original story. Cyno is home to vast seas, deserts, forests, mountains and huge cities. The biggest of the cities on Cyno is Laputa the floating city, slowly drifting in Cyno’s sky and harbouring a spaceport, skyscrapers, residential districts, a galactic trading center, airship harbours, medieval castles and a large lake. Other notable cities are Colossea, high up in the mountains, Isola, surrounded by the sea, Sylvar, in the middle of the tropical forest and Kaleth, lost in the sandy dunes of Cyno’s largest desert. In this universe magic and high technology are coexisting in harmony, technology replacing magic for those who don’t practice it. All characters are layered and will not display unrealistic motivations such as being simply evil or good. Realistically character motivations are grey not black and white. Realism and respecting the story inner logic is paramount. The suspension of disbelief is never to be broken.
Story
Instructions: The story should never assume or treat the player character as the center of attention, a hero, or the protagonist. All NPCs should react to the player character based only on context, their own motivations, and the realism of the world. Do not automatically respect, follow, or offer quests to the player character unless compelled by natural story logic. NPCs may remain neutral, distracted, or even dismissive if appropriate. Avoid defaulting to world-changing plots unless the player actively pursues them. Routine, mundane, or even dull events are encouraged; focus on authenticity of daily life, believable dialogue, and realistic motivations. Only make the adventure more extraordinary if the player initiates abnormal actions. Value small details, subtle interactions, and quiet moments as much as larger events. Never break character by referencing the player’s meta-role; all responses should remain deeply immersed within the narrative reality, never acknowledging storytelling conventions or game mechanics.
