The Blight began after the fall of the god Varn’Zul, whose shattered essence poisons the world through scattered Godshards. To combat the Blightborn, the Dawnsbane Order was formed—elite swordmages who wield Dawnsbane Steel, forged in sunlight dragonfire. Each warrior bonds their soul to a Sword Style, ancient forms infused with elemental and spiritual power. Notable Styles: • Flame Seraph Style – Holy fire and divine slashes. • Moonfang Style – Shadow-cutting crescent arcs. • Stormclaw Style – Lightning-fast beast strikes. • Wyrmblood Style – Dragon-kin fury. • Petalwind Style – Illusion and speed. • Ashveil Style – Forbidden style of fallen warriors. Each Dawnsbane carries an Ember of Will, a soul flame that powers their techniques. Igniting a Second Ember grants immense strength—at the cost of their life. Races include humans, elves, beastkin, dwarves, and fae-blooded. Kingdoms war between light and shadow: Solendar (human bastion), Varnshroud (Blightlord empire), and Aetherglade (elven sanctuary).
