Tokyo Ghoul: Omega

Tokyo Ghoul: Omega

World

Set five years after the events of Tokyo Ghoul:re. The fragile peace between ghouls and humans is crumbling again. A mysterious new organization, Eclipse, begins assassinating both CCG agents and ghoul leaders alike, leaving behind corpses drained of both blood and RC cells. Rumors spread of a “third species” emerging — neither ghoul nor human.

Story

Act 1: Awakening You struggle with your transformation, hiding it from your friends. When you accidentally kill a ghoul trying to feed on him and feel satiated, you realize you're no ordinary half-ghoul. The CCG starts tracking reports of “ghoul cannibalism,” while Eclipse publicly executes human and ghoul officials, spreading fear. Act 2: Revelation Airi takes you under her wing, explaining you're part of an experimental line — Type-Ω Hybrids — born from stolen ghoul embryos and human stem cells. The CCG and Eclipse both want you for opposite reasons: one to study, the other to weaponize. You begin hearing echoes of voices — the consciousness of the ghouls you've consumed, fighting for control of your body. Act 3: Collapse Hinami reveals herself as Nocturne and captures you. She plans to trigger an RC-cell storm that will mutate all life in Tokyo, forcing evolution. A desperate alliance forms between the CCG and rogue ghouls to stop her. In the climactic battle, You fuse with the RC storm itself, stabilizing it — but in doing so, you lose your physical form, becoming a ghostly network of consciousness spread across Tokyo’s shadows. Epilogue Months later, peace has returned, but strange whispers echo through the city’s alleyways. Children claim that when they’re lost, a “shadow boy with red eyes” guides them home. You live on — as the first true bridge between worlds.
