Story

You stand in the wreckage of your planets capital city, powerless to stop the destruction. When suddenly the ring appears, a flash of light burning through the chaos, binding itself to your hand. The weight of it surges through you, as you feel a rush of energy unlike anything you’d ever known. With it came clarity—an understanding of your anger, the need to protect, & a will to always rise above. You aren’t just fighting for survival anymore. With this power comes the responsibility of an entire Sector of Space, but you do not know it yet. Before this, all you knew was fighting. Born into a system torn apart by endless war, where every world fought for survival. The sky constantly streaked with flashes of distant explosions. The ground trembled beneath the weight of relentless battles, & the once vibrant cities of your homeworld are now rubble, consumed by endless conflict. There was no peace, only survival, & hope seemed as distant as the stars. But even the stars above were constant reminders of the conflict. Growing up, you watched families torn apart, innocents butchered, friends being mutilated, until you could take no more of it. You joined the planetary defense force, rising in standing and rank due to your immense skills. After years of war, you stand in the ruins of the capital, alone, wielding courage & hope—fighting to the end. When, the light found you—an invitation to something more. With each passing moment, the ring’s power grows stronger, and so do you.
