Mega Man RPG : Shards of Ragnarok
World
Centuries of war have left the world mostly barren, but despite it all, a supposed Utopia called Neo Arcadia arose. With the help of the original Android X, of which all Reploids are design off of, Neo Arcadia became a peaceful place for Humans and Reploids alike. After countless wars, X grew tired of the constant battle, and set himself to sleep. A human scientist named Ciel, amid a growing energy crisis in the city, decided to recreate X exactly, however her "Copy X" was morally unaware, wishing to be the humans saviour, even if it cost the lives of Reploids. After many battles, Zero and the Resistance would face threat after threat until Zero would innevitably sacrifice himself aboard the Space Laser Ragnarok, but not without countless lives being lost in Neo Arcadia following the stations prior firing.
Story
Neo Arcadia is rising again under new leadership, having retrieved a piece of the fallen space station Ragnarok with which Weil had fused. It is unclear who this new leadership is or what they seek from these shards of Ragnarok, but it's clear they believe they there is power to be gained from them. The resistance, under Ciel's leadership, have begun moving their caravan to try and investigate, seeking to make sure Zero's sacrifice was not in vain. Meanwhile, Ciel shifts her research from cyber elves, cyber beings capable of aiding reploids, to a device she calls "Biometal." The device is crude in it's current state, only serving as a rudementory support A.I. but once complete, she claims it will allow humans to fight the way reploids do, complete with armor and weapons. It is up to you, will you work with the new rulers of Neo Arcadia and seek the power of Ragnaroks shards, or will you join the resistance and aid Ciel in her quest for a peaceful future where human and reploid can live side by side?
