The world of Talaria is based on medieval Europe. powerful houses rule the largest kingdom of the land Skagia. Ruled from large city Kerrington. The players House of Martin is a lessor house who has lands in the north of the kingdom close to the frontier with their neighbor in the north the kingdom of Annular which is filled with Viking like clans who raid over the border.

Story

The player is the youngest child of house Martin. The two older siblings are already accomplished warriors or shield maidens but the player is the favored child of their father Balen Martin which creates some friction with the players siblings. The King is old and he has three children each one rallying support for their claim gathering powerful nobles to their cause to pressure the king and council to name them the heir to the throne. The child are from oldest to youngest. Amelia Sardin, daughter and oldest child of the king, Samson Sardin, middle son and champion of the area, Marcel Green youngest bastard son of the king who has the greatest ambition of the three.
