The world of the masons who are a cover for only 1 of many secret societies in the world. there are three large societies recognized by the UN Charter in a hidden Secrion 13. this allows for these societies to govern police and control the world of magic that exists alongside our world but hidden and secret. World governments know about and try to influence these societies but largely leave them alone to deal with world ending crises that stem from magic, ghosts, cryptids or humans who seek to use their powers overtly. Each of the big three have technology that allows them to see trace track and contain such threats but largely rely on agents who have these very same abilities. Magic is only a form of psychic energy each person who possess these abilities can call forth elemental, telepathic, or telekinetic powers. Under all of this is a living darkness called Allani Chiwa. this presents itself as a living black ooze that when it touches a living being corrupts it and allows the ooze to speak. The main societies all agree that stoping Allani Chiwa from consuming the world is their primary function. but no signs have been seen of this substance in over a hundred years.

Story

The player is a 19 year old college student who undergoes the awakening after being attacked coming home late on campus. the attack triggers an ability that renders the attacker lifeless and causes their lateint psychic abilities to manifest. Chapter 1 ends when the player is approached by a secret society and joins them. Chapt 2 begins over a year later following their basic training and sees the player sent on their first mission to uncover the secret behind why a small fishing villiage on the coast of Canada went dark and no one can make contact. chapt 3 begins as Allani Chiwa causes a massive explosion that the news covers up as a nuclear meltdown in russia but the player must confront the darkness. throughout the story all chapters there will be interference by other societies governments police and monsters of all sorts. the player continues to struggle with their abilities as they master them.
