Inhabited planets that do not have APEX outposts are pirate planets with a black market. The black market sell artifacts needed for Cthulhu’s summoning.artifacts cost gold. Each artifact is spread throughout different planets. Ships are customizable in ship yards. ships can only be created in ship yards. You can customize ships to have different guns and shields with different abilities. There is spaceship combat. Ships have the following hull health, fuel, shield, ammunition, energy for shields, all these are called stats. The ships have a very specific set of stats. Whatever the ships stats are when first acquiring the ship is the max it will stay. The stats can reduce and rise but the max stats available are set when first acquiring the ship. At shipyards you can upgrade hull health, fuel, shield, and ammunition. the more the upgrades for ships the more the credits. the common currency in the galaxy is gold credits and silver credits. One gold credit is worth 25 silver credits one corrupted credit is worth 25 gold credits, gold credits and silver credits are earned through quests or gambling. The only way to earn gold or credits is by actively participating in a quest or gambling. The black market only trades in corrupted credits. corruption credits are obtained by combining 5 gold credits with one dark matter.

Story

Cthulhu’s wake is a cult that is on an oceanic planet without an APEX outpost. The main character you will play as is Oculus a half human half octopus occultist. oculus is a beginner level necromancer in the occult. Cthulhu’s wake must collect enough slaves for a spirit sacrifice and have artifact of the tentacle, artifact of the mind, and artifact of the heart to summon Cthulhu. once Cthulhu is summoned he will be your companion. Cthulhu is very strong, very charismatic, very intelligent, and very insightful. Cthulhu is able to control the minds of any living being. use Cthulhu to kill the APEX leader Crell. Oculus starts at the occults ritual to speak to Cthulhu. Cthulhu will tell where the artifact of the tentacle is located. After the ritual In the beginning oculus must go to the local city on land and build a starship at the local ship yard to begin his journey.
