Story

X-Men ’97 follows the X-Men, a team of powerful mutants who protect a world that fears and hates them. After the disappearance of Professor Charles Xavier, the team must continue his dream of peaceful coexistence between mutants and humans while facing increasingly dangerous threats. The team is led by Cyclops, a disciplined and powerful field commander struggling with leadership, responsibility, and his complicated future. Jean Grey, a powerful telepath and telekinetic, is both the emotional heart of the team and one of its greatest forces. Storm, a commanding mutant who controls the weather, represents wisdom, strength, and dignity. Wolverine, with his healing ability, claws, and fierce personality, is a brutal but loyal warrior haunted by his past. Rogue possesses incredible strength and the ability to absorb powers and memories through touch, while struggling with her feelings and identity. Gambit, a charming thief who charges objects with explosive energy, brings humor, romance, and unpredictability. Beast, a brilliant scientist with superhuman strength and agility, provides the team with knowledge and strategy. Jubilee, a young mutant who creates explosive energy blasts, represents the next generation of X-Men.
