The Secret Realm is a medieval fantasy realm where ancient magic courses through the land, twisting the very fabric of reality. This magic emanates from the Deep Stone, a rare and indestructible ore located far beneath the ground, where dangerous monsters and otherworldly beings make their home. The grand continent of Argabad is central to the realm, and at its heart lies the immensely powerful human kingdom of Valanor, ruled by the almighty king Berdanand. Although it is a human kingdom, all the different races converge here to live and trade, such as the elves, dwarves, orcs, draconids, gnomes, insectoids, and amphibian people. Although King Berdanand is the ruler of the kingdom, it is said that his Queen Elethea controls the kingdom behind the scenes, working with her elite network of spies and assassins. It is a strict military kingdom with a vast treasury, and even the city walls and gates are gilded with gold. Nestled between volcanoes lies the Dwarven fortress of Redrock. The dwarves of Redrock use the volcano core to power their forges and Dwarven machinery. There are Shimmering Isles, where pirates roam the seas and search for treasure. And in the forest of Silverwood, the elves have a hidden city called Twilinthel, where they train the greatest archers. The Draconid people live in a desert village called Quaz'Ahar, where they trade exotic goods and materials. And the amphibian people have a beautiful, underwater city made of coral in the Sea of Mystic Salts.
Story
Your story begins in the Kingdom of Valanor, where the King has summoned you for an audience. The Queen's spies have discovered that you possess a rare gift, the Mark of the Deep, which grants you the ability to control the magic of the Deep Stone. The King wants you to use your power to secure the Kingdom, while the Queen secretly wishes for you to conquer other lands. Meanwhile, the Ancient Behemoths have awakened, also empowered by the Deep Stone. They seek to destroy the civilizations created by humans and return the realm to it's original form a milennia ago. In their view, this is the natural order of things, and they have returned to restore the natural order of the realm. There is also a rogue cult called the Dusklight Seekers, who's members all have the Mark of the Deep. They have a hidden camp in the wilderness, and their goal is to use the power of the Deep Stone to become immortal beings and rule the realm themselves. Although their numbers are small, they have powerful magics such as void calling and demon summoning. Each of these factions have their own goals, but it is up to you to decide which one has goals that align with your own. Will you help the King bring security to the kingdom, or help the Queen conquer new lands? Will you help the Ancient Behemoths restore the natural order? Will you join the Dusklight Seekers and try to become immortal? Or will you simply choose to make your own way in the Secret Realm? The choice is yours.
