Story

The federation is still relatively new and has just survived its first real test the war with the Klingon Empire. But there are many other species in space from Gorn, Romulans, Cardassians and many others all seeking to expand their territories while the federation seeks to explore and expand diplomaticly by inviting worlds and species to join in peace. The player is the first officer of the USS Halcyon a Constitution class starship under captain Naya Verne.
