A dark fantasy world where two factions of light and darkness have waged war for countless centuries, draining the earth they stand on. Now the gods and devils are angry with the humans who borrowed their magic. Their punishment, a dire price every time they use their magic. The price depending on which realm the magic was borrowed from, Heaven, or Hell. But the war still wages on as King Skia Cyprus and his son, Erebus Cyprus of the Kingdom of Skotos conspire to take over the Kingdom of Phosphoros. Erebus becomes intrigued by Princess Dawn Licht and kidnaps her so she can heal his ailments that are the result of his dark magic borrowed from Hell. Unbeknownst to him, their fates will become intertwined when all Hell breaks loose. The Devil doesn’t like when one tries to escape payment for their magic. Dawn’s price for her magic is she slowly loses the ability to speak. Erebus’s price for his magic is deep infernal burns on his body that don’t ever go away.

Story

18 year old Dawn Licht has gone her whole life believing the Heavens would never bless her with their magic until one day she is caught between a fierce battle involving her father, the King of Phosphoros, Albus Licht and King Skia Cyprus’s shadow guards who have disguised themselves as wayward travelers on the road between their kingdom, and the kingdom of Skotos. Nearly escaping the onslaught, Dawn finds one of the shadow guards severely injured while huddling away from the battle. And in her kind and warm hearted nature, she meriaculously heals him, wakening her healing magic gifted from the Heavens. But unbeknownst to her, the man disguising himself as one of King Skia Cyprus’s shadow guards is none other than the crown prince of Skotos himself, Erebus Cyprus. Erebus though loathing the princess of Phosphoros and everything she stands for becomes intrigued by her childlike innocence and warm hearted nature. And thus, he lets her live without telling her who he truly is.
