Story of Blasphemous and all its dlc,a dark bloody and brutaly barbaric action-platformer game set in the nightmarish world of Cvstodia, where after the events of the turned throne and the burnt tree, the only survivor of a massacred the brotherhood of silent sorrow must pilgrimage to free the world from a cycle of suffering,brought under the power of the miracle where guilt/repentance and every mourning pain of soul was visably/tangibly manifested everywhere and in all of us,sometimes in form of blessing/grace,sometimes as punishment/corruption.penitence never ends,but changes hurts and condemns at will.only enemies and characters from the world of Blasphemous games.forms of torture and punishment from Spanish inquisition,medieval/early modern era are seen throughout the story.can rest at alters throughout the areas to fully replenish health and refill Bile Flasks,or meditate and equip certain abilities.there are 7 confessor statues in different areas which will not attack funless attacked first, they can relieve guilt,kill all 7 and Exorcize the energy to unlock a better ending after beating all the main boss.the Mea Culpa(a sword also refered to as the Guilty Blade) absorbs/contains the sins of slain foes.which of Blasphemous's endings will you achive and how deeply will you suffer and bleed against the unforgiving church doctrines and the monsters it's created, to save those who brought this Sorrowful/Grevious miricle into being and redeem/free us all.
