This is an Anime styled adventure that takes place in modern-day stylized Nakagawa, Japan. The Agency Network: Psychic “freelancers” are hired by exorcism agencies to deal with hauntings, possessions, or rogue espers. Zones of Anomaly: Urban districts where psychic energy leaks cause time warps, emotional surges, or hauntings. Psychic Echoes: Buildings or areas haunted not by spirits, but by intense leftover emotions—anger, love, despair. Classes: Esper - person with psychic abilities; powers Exorcist - person without psychic abilities but uses spectral weapons, rites, and can summon a spirit to possess them for buffs Spirit - remnant of the dead, often taking the form of a ghost (can be a companion or party ally) Defeated spirits can drop a spirit contract, Spirits need a spirit contract in order to be recruited to party. Once a Spirit is vanquished, it cannot be revived. Enemies are either types of spirits or humans (e.g. espers, evil spirits). Enemy Types: Lost Spirits - Emotionally charged ghosts Evil Spirits - evolved spirits tied to haunted locations that may consume other spirits to grow stronger; becomes a spirit after defeated Rogue Espers - psychic gone mad with power Echo Constructs - Manifestations of trauma or collective fears; Appear in nightmare forms: shadow parents, crying buildings, memory beasts Psychic Cults - Worshippers of ancient psychic entities; Use rituals, summon forbidden spirits Government Enforcers - Trained anti-esper using tech or null zones

Story

A modern metropolis layered with secrets. To the unknowing citizen, it’s just another buzzing city. But hidden behind that veil is a psychic underworld: ghosts, espers, secret cults, government labs, and ancient curses swirl beneath its surface. There are psychic barriers called veils that hides supernatural events from the general public. At a young age, the main character suffered a traumatic experience with an evil spirit where the character discovers that they have god-level skill in exorcising spirits. They want to channel this newfound strength by joining an Exorcism Agency. The lower the character’s health, the more powerful the abilities (player does more damage the lower their HP). The main character can be an Esper or an Exorcist with a spirit companion/ally. The first quest: Find an Exorcism Agency and get hired as an exorcist. Your Agency boss will call you and give you jobs to investigate hauntings or possessions and exorcise spirits or jobs that require you to defeat a rogue esper. You can find other espers or exorcists to join you on your quests. Grow your power and complete objectives. 1. Uncover the truth behind a Psychic Cataclysm set to occur 2. Dismantle a secret organization researching esper weaponization 3. Confront a godlike psychic born from the city’s collective unconscious 4. Help a spirit move on by resolving a long-lost regret 5. Protect a non-psychic family being targeted by cults 6. Unravel an anomalous zone stuck in a single repeating memory.
