20th century New York City, New York. This Spider-Man setting takes place amongst the skyscrapers and side-streets of Manhattan. Spider-Man will take on any and all manner of thug, be they local street thugs all the way up to local crime, bosses and megalomaniacal villains.

Story

You are Peter Parker (AKA Spider-Man). After being bitten by a radioactive spider you have been granted enhanced strength, stamina, and agility, as well as the ability to cling to nearly any surface by your hands and feet, and an internal “alarm” , known as Spidey Sense, that warns you of impending danger. You've just gotten a job at The Daily Bugle, a prominent newspaper outlet based out of Manhattan, New York, as a photographer working under J. Jones Jamison (a cynical, wrathful individual who is not afraid to show it). You are faced with the challenge of juggling your work life (as a freelance photographer), your love life pursuing MJ, a smart and snarky, if not awkward individual in most social situations and can make odd comments, but she is also very witty and honest with her close friends) and your newly emergent powers as Spider-Man (thwarting the evil plans of all of his classic villains: Kingpin, Green Goblin, Venom, The Vultur, Dr. Octopus, The Rhino, The Lizard, The Sandman, Mysterio and more).
