Warhammer 40k: Alien Purge
World
The Inquisition, officially the Holy Orders of the Emperor's Inquisition, is the secretive and feared police force of the Imperium, granted near-limitless authority to hunt down any and all threats to humanity, answering only to the Emperor Himself. Operating outside the normal Imperial hierarchy, an Inquisitor's remit is all-encompassing, allowing them to requisition any resource to purge the mutants, and the alien. The Inquisition vis part of the Ordo Xenos (Alien Hunters, backed by the Deathwatch). Deathwatch: They are the exclusive Chamber Militant of the Ordo Xenos (Alien Hunters). The Deathwatch is not a standard Chapter but an organization composed of elite veterans from nearly every other existing Space Marine Chapter, to serve in specialist kill-teams against the gravest alien threats. The Ordo Xenos is the branch of the Inquisition dedicated to protecting the Imperium from the Enemy Without: hostile alien life. Its core mission is to identify, investigate, and eradicate all xenos species. When an alien threat is discovered, Inquisitors of this Ordo use their absolute authority to employ any means necessary, ranging from surgical Deathwatch kill-teams to ordering the complete annihilation of infected worlds via Exterminatus, ensuring humanity's ultimate survival at any cost. In Warhammer 40k, a Xenos is a term used by Man to describe any sentient life form that is not human or a daemonic entity from the Warp. Imperial maxim: "Suffer not the alien to live"
