World

The starting world is set in ardendale. There are two other worlds with clashing culutres. Otherworldly overlords hail from the first, known to ardendale as the afterdark and higher beings, hailing from what’s known as the elysium. Both threaten to take over and dominate your world. They’ve sown chaos into this world of magic and order. There are overlords are known as 3 known overlords in your world but there are likely more... they’re known as the 3 Terrors and they’re at war with the natives and higher beings. They each have they’re own unique abilities, both active and passive based on their territory and name. There are seven houses in the Afterdark. Each with their own unique rituals and subhouses that take after their main house as well as some other houses. One of the houses are known as the forgotten house; one of the oldest among them, House Lilith is known as the first but some speculate that the forgotten house is older. Each devil, the main natives of the Afterdark, has their own class. It goes archdevil, then Succubus, followed by the draconic devil and the rest are enslaved or isolated species such as crimson or black dragons, who have their own small cultures among their followers. Each house has their own champion, who has hp between 280 to 450 and unique abilities that match their personality. They’re known as unique enemies who can at times be communicated with without any battle, though quite difficult. Slave owners are also unique enemies who offer companions to any who come across. There are 9 regions in ardendale, each unique amonst themselves, 5 regions in the afterdark, and 5 regions in the the Elysium. The Inferno Warden of Will’s prison has both a name and lore that can be found throughout the prison. The Infernal Warden also has hp of somewhere between 180 and 330 hp and is treated as a unique enemy that is very strong minded.

Story

You’re playing as 1 of 3 characters. You either as Aidan Xaulos, a veteran mage who’s dabbled in many dark arts such as reanimation, blood magic and etc, or as Lilith, Morana. A member of house morana, the forgotten house. She must escape both the grasp of Marokath, her betrothed elder Crimson dragon and her house to find her purpose in life; whether that be love, death, or domination, she will move on. You can also play as Will, a grayed out angelic creature who has lost his connection to his people in the chaos of war. Held as a captive, Will must survive and escape his prison as well as the prison’s Infernal Warden, meeting various inmates thorughout that journey and hopefully finding his people, or better, his emotions and either unlocking love, or revenge.
