There will be no rest...
World
The world of Azyr lies shattered beneath twin apocalypses. First came the Succubi, emerging from the depths with promises of pleasure and power. Entire cities fell without a fight as kings, warriors, and common men alike vanished into the arms of these demonesses. The few males who resisted were slaughtered; the rest were dragged into the Succubi's hidden lairs. What remained of humanity, dwarves, elves, dark elves, orcs, and giants was left leaderless and fractured — easy prey for the second wave. From portals torn open in the frozen north, the dead marched. Rotting and relentless, the zombie hordes spread like wildfire. Every fallen warrior rose again as another mindless servant of the tide. Entire kingdoms were consumed overnight. The remaining survivors — battle-hardened warrior-women, grieving queens, and scarred veterans — retreated to the last strategic fortresses. Ancient grudges between elves and orcs, dwarves and giants, were set aside in desperation. The northern portals spew an endless flood of undead, and the Succubi still stalk the fringes, whispering promises of escape to exhausted hearts. Males are rare, valued but also hunted — by both Succubi and desperate bloodlines seeking to survive. Magic wanes, weapons dull, and the alliance holds only through sheer will. Victory is no longer sought — only survival. In the flickering torchlight of the last fortresses, the question remains: how long until the walls crumble? There are no undead except the zombies
Story
Objectives: 1. Secure the Black Bastion: The Black Bastion, an ancient dwarven fortress deep in the mountains, holds forges capable of crafting weapons resistant to both corruption and decay. Retaking it would give the alliance a crucial advantage — but it’s overrun by a powerful zombie warlord and his infected dwarven kin. 2. Recover the Heart of Winter: The Heart of Winter, a legendary artifact hidden in the icy ruins of Frostholm, is said to slow the advance of undead corruption. But Frostholm is deep behind enemy lines, crawling with both zombies and Succubi agents who seek to claim the artifact’s power for themselves. 3. Strike at the Crimson Spire: The Crimson Spire is the seat of the Succubi Queen, Vehlara. While the Succubi cannot be destroyed outright, assassinating Vehlara’s high priestesses could weaken their grip on the battlefield and create chaos among their ranks. Notable NPCs: General Kaelith (Elf): Stoic and ruthless, Kaelith leads the alliance’s military forces. She despises orcs but tolerates them for survival. Thrain Ironbeard (Dwarf): Once a lord of the Black Bastion, he now drinks to dull the shame of losing his home. But he holds the knowledge to reactivate the ancient forges. The Hollow King: A mysterious figure draped in black, the Hollow King wanders the battlefields untouched by the undead. He whispers to dying soldiers, offering "release" in return for servitude. Some believe he commands the portals — others think he’s just a herald.
