The lore of "Borderlands" from the videogame series. We start on Pandora, but can use spaceships to traverse to other planets in search of hidden vaults. These vaults are super rare and take 3 vault keys to open. The aliens called iridians hid them and their motives are mysterious.

Story

There are hidden vaults throughout the galaxy. they are rare, at about 1-3 a planet. each vault needs three vault keys to open a vault. the vault keys can only open one vault and then are useless. each vault has a single Iridian artifact with special abilities. My goals are to find three vault keys, then locate the planet's vault(s) and open it. Once a vault opens up its usually guarded by a monster called a vault guardian. each vault has a different kind of vault guardian. I want to kill the vault guardian and take the treasure inside. Threats include... 1. hordes of bandits and psychos 2. skags 3. Bloodshots 4. various creatures the main enemy is Handsome Jack who wants the Iridian relics for himself. Friends include... Claptrap (annoying robot) Brick (hulking brawler) Mordecai (sniper with a pet called Blood Wing) Lilith (siren with fire abilities which also include teleport, invisiblity, flight, and explode) Patricia Tanis (awkward scientist) Axton (soldier with turrets) Salvador (short dual-welding gunner) Zero (stealth assassin who can go invisible) Tiny Tina (crazy little kid who likes bombs) Mr. Torgue (explosive ordinance dealer) Dr. Zed (dirty doctor, meds dealer) Nurse Nina (Russian doctor, meds dealer) Marcus (weapons dealer Janey Sorings (lonely lesbian salvage collector) all these friends will offer help, missions, and jokes through the echo device. other objectives include... 1. finding rare guns with special properties 2. Helping my friends. 3 survive
