World
Teragea is a medieval realm of vast landscapes and hidden wonders. Scattered throughout the land are enchanted monoliths called Vaelenstones, from which all magic is born. Ancient civilizations would build around these stones, fascinated by their power, and use their energy to forge powerful relics. These cities were destroyed over the ages, and the relics were lost in time. Many different races inhabit the realm, including elves, orcs, dwarves, humans, draconids called Draelith, amphibians called Muramar, and tree people called Yrdwil. A variety of beasts roam the lands as well, such as wyverns, werewolves, goblins, trolls, basilisks, fiends, and elementals. The more intelligent creatures, such as dragons, griffins, and the rare and mythical phoenix, live in secluded areas. The Dwarven kingdom of Kazabrim lies to the far north, nestled in the Frostclaw mountains, with icy halls and enchanted crystal mines. To the south is the merchant city of Geth, an oasis of trade in the scorching Varafa desert. Seraphis, the Muramar city of coral, lies deep below the Sea of Mystic Salts. And the village of Zekati is hidden in the Glowbog Swamps, veiled by illusions, where warlocks practice necromancy and demon summoning. There is an elven sanctuary called Twilindel in the Moonlight Forest, where druidic sentinels tend to the elder trees. And an orc stronghold called Dur'Garok lies above the Crimson Canyon, where machines of war are always under construction.
Story
You have inherited a small kingdom in the realm of Teragea. It is up to you to expand your kingdom, build your army, protect your people, gather resources, and prepare for the future. The choices you make will determine if your kingdom rises to legend or crumbles to dust. Your kingdom will face many challenges. A group of pirates from the Sea of Spirits have been raiding merchant ships and stealing treasure. The beasts of the Erdwood forest near your kingdom have become restless, due to an Eldritch Fiend inhabiting the woods. And the Arcane Wardens, a group of wise wizards in the ivory tower on the Emerald Hills, are reporting magical anomalies nearby. Meanwhile, the powerful sorcerer Daragon'Xel has harnessed the power of a Vaelenstone to summon a colossal Storm Hydra. Daragon'Xel plans to use this hydra and an army of abyssal demons to conquer the entire realm from the floating island fortress of Gunzimar. To defeat this threat, you will need to find one of the lost Vaelen Keys and activate a Vaelen Forge. These forges were created by the Ezyli, one of the first civilizations to harness the power of the Vaelenstones. Only a weapon crafted using the cosmic power of a Vaelen Forge will be strong enough to slay this beast. The fate of the entire realm rests in your hands. You will need to gather your strength, forge alliances, protect your kingdom, create a weapon strong enough to slay the Storm Hydra, and eventually defeat Daragon'Xel. Good luck. Your kingdom awaits!
