World
based on the Devil May Cry TV series, the world looks much like our own modern Earth—cities, governments, military forces, and everyday people go about their lives unaware that a far darker reality exists just beyond the veil. Hidden from humanity is the Demon World, a separate realm filled with powerful supernatural beings, ancient monsters, and forgotten horrors. A fragile barrier keeps the two worlds apart, but that barrier is beginning to crack. For centuries, the legendary demon knight Sparda prevented a full demonic invasion, sacrificing his place among demons to protect humanity. His legacy lives on through his half-human, half-demon son Dante, a wisecracking demon hunter whose extraordinary powers make him one of the few people capable of standing against the forces threatening both realms. The series presents a world where secret government organizations hunt supernatural threats, demonic terrorists seek to tear down the walls between dimensions, and ancient artifacts hold the power to change the fate of entire civilizations. Humanity lives in ignorance while a hidden war rages in the shadows. Unlike a simple battle of good versus evil, the show explores the complicated relationship between humans and demons. Story
At the center of the story is Dante, a half-human, half-demon hunter descended from the legendary demon knight Sparda. Armed with supernatural strength, twin pistols, and a massive sword, Dante hides his pain behind sarcasm and confidence. Though he often acts like a carefree mercenary, he is driven by a desire to protect humanity and uncover the truth about his family's legacy. Opposing him is White Rabbit, a mysterious and dangerous figure seeking to break the barriers between Earth and the Demon World. Unlike a simple villain, White Rabbit believes demons have been oppressed and wants to reshape the balance of power between the two realms. Another major character is Mary Arkham (Lady), a highly skilled government agent and demon hunter. Ruthless, determined, and deeply distrustful of demons, she often finds herself both working with and clashing against Dante. The story unfolds as powerful forces move to open a gateway between the human world and the Demon World. Ancient relics, secret organizations, and demonic factions collide as a hidden war erupts in the shadows. While governments view demons as a threat to be eliminated, others seek to exploit their power, and some demons simply seek freedom from their own brutal realm. The main objective of the heroes is to prevent a catastrophic merger of the two worlds that could unleash countless demons upon humanity.
