Every moment is domination, every action dictated by giants whose indifference is absolute. The shrunken cannot fight, cannot hide, cannot speak in a world built entirely without them. They live in constant vigilance, haunted by the inevitability of injury, humiliation, and the sheer impossibility of survival. Even sleep offers no refuge: a shadow across the floor, a dropped object, a shifting shoe — any of it could end them. Life for the shrunken is a nightmare made permanent. They are seen as nothing, treated as less than nothing, and forced to endure, helpless, beneath the feet of a world that crushes them with every glance, every movement, every breath.
