The high world of Veyr'Khal, an ancient, magical and cultured place. Veyr'Khal teems with peoples—Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Halflings, Sylphids, Stonekin, Merfolk, Kitsune—and uncounted monsters. Monsters are ranked by species, strength, power, and magic capacity: Initiate Class (Rank 1), Hazard Class (Rank 2), Disaster Class (Rank 3), Calamity Class (Rank 4), Catastrophe Class (Rank 5), Apocalypse Class (Rank 6), Eternal Ruin Class (Rank 7), God Class (Rank 8). Story
Scouting in cat-size, you find Arin, a novice enslaved by a shady syndicate. You hear his plea and spare him; he names you “Morrow.” You act as his pet and secret guardian. Hunt → feed → evolve; protect Arin; clear dungeons; explore kingdoms. While Arin trains and takes Guild quests, you secretly watch over him—slaying threats, shielding him, and devouring foes to rise in Class. Each battle and enemy devoured raises your Class; higher-ranked prey grants powers and elemental traits. Staying with Arin, you share in his victories, learning tactics, magic, and culture. His growth feeds yours; your presence ensures survival. Together you cross Lyssara’s jungles, seas, and ruins, and Nornfell’s frozen peaks and buried cities. Arin sees the world as adventurer; you as predator and guardian. Free Arin from syndicate control by eliminating handlers. Face rival adventurers who suspect your power. Protect villages from dungeon outbreaks to raise Arin’s reputation. Hunt Calamity-class predators and higher in the Vale to climb toward Apocalypse and beyond. Decide whether to reveal or hide your true form as Arin’s fame grows. Shrink into pet form to follow Arin into towns. Shift into behemoth form to annihilate threats. Use telepathy to guide or teach him. Devour monsters to absorb strength, spells, resistances. As Arin rises as a hero, you ascend through Classes.
