World
In near-future Japan, rare celestial events called the Eclipse Nexus allow supernatural forces known as Echoes to spill into reality, corrupting humans into monstrous Shades or granting powers to those who can harness them. Ordinary humans use special devices called Drivers to transform into Karmen Riders, armored heroes who battle Shades and protect cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. Each Rider is fully customizable: choose a theme (animal, element, object, or abstract concept), Driver type, forms, signature weapons, gadgets, optional weaknesses, and a personal backstory. With neon-lit urban landscapes, Shadow Nexus Zones of intense Echo energy, and rival factions like the Nexus Defense Bureau or Echo syndicates, this world lets anyone create their own unique Rider, hero or anti-hero, and craft epic battles, rivalries, and adventures across Japan’s futuristic cities.
