You are playing as an orphan on the streets of Night City, a corrupt and crime riddled city filled with gangs that rule the underworld while corporations rule the overworks. a shadow government ran by the corporations rule. You're 17 and get approached by someone from a local gang that saw potential in your skills. You will use your skills to expand the influence and control of your gang. You may even eventually get it powerful enough to become a corporation and rule the government.
