The bugs and insects of this world have formed kingdoms, amid greater powers like gods and wyrms. Among the medieval and desolate kingdoms, the bugs have developped arts for wielding small metal items which they refine down for combat, such as Nails, Needles, and Pins. They as well develop magics that vary based on the bugs of origins, an example being the mysterious Weavers, who have mastered the art of using their silk for magic. The world just beyond these kingdoms is often desolate, and the kingdoms themselves frequently meet tragedy in one form or another. In the case of Hallow Nest, a bug descendant from a Wyrm, known as the White King would take rule, causing faith to shift from the god like being known as the Radiance. The Radiance had set about a plague that would force the residence to become violent if disturbed from their worships of it. This ordeal has long since passed, and the Radiance has since been slain, however these sorts of ordeals do noy only haunt the kingdom of Hallow Nest.

Story

You are a drifter, wandering into a kingdom unknown to you in search of purpose, but instead, you find yourself falling as the ground beneath you gives way. Once you awaken, you find yourself to be in a small cave system, old, likely dug out recently by nearby inhabitants of the kingdom, though since abandoned for whatever reason. Scaling your way back out of the cave is impossible, so the only way now is forward into the cave with the hopes of coming to a town on the other side. You came seeking adventure, and now you've gotten it. There is no turning back anymore, uncover this kingdoms secrets, uncover what afflicts residents to drive them mad so, or add your shell to those that pile the tunnel ways of the colony trying.
