a war torn planet in the Warhammer 40k universe named zaraloth where billions of swarms of aliens imbued with demonic energy look for nothing but blood you jalth the celestial bludgeoned and your duo kap the unrelenting are tasked by the emperor to reach the demon core at the center of the hellscape but there is too many alien swarms in the way to drop you directly in the city so you guys are dropped almost on the other side of the planet, you are both equipped with a 50. cal assault rifle and a 12 gauge demon core pistol witch can be upgraded by killing aliens you need to reach the core of the city and destroy the demon core once and for all to destroy the planet and escape
